I was lucky enough to be given one of these fab images to work with for my 100th Challenge card & I chose Queens Cutie. I've used my copics to colour her & she was an absolute joy to colour.

If you'd like to join us for the challenge read on . . . . . .

TAKE OUR 100TH CHALLENGE too!

Our 100th celebration challenge is no ordinary challenge...we've spiced it up!

There are 3 parts to this challenge: A sketch to follow, a color combo and an added recycled element!

Stop by Crafty Creations for all the details! There will be 2 winners and  fabulous prize packages for this challenge!!

For my challenge card I've used cardstock from Stampin Up in Elegant Eggplant & Crumbcake which I didn't think for a minute would go together but I'm really pleased with the colour combo & will definately use it again.

The papers are from Basic Grey & my recycled element is the purple cotton which was in with spare buttons from a cardigan I bought a few months ago.

I've used a Stampin Up border punch for the frilled edge to the circle.

The sentiment is done on the computer.

Hope you can find the time to join us for our celebrations and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Now hop on over & show some love to Shelly who I know will have something lovely to inspire you!!

Crafty Creations Challenge 99 - Angels

I honestly don't know where the time is going!! I still have loads to do before Saturday & am seriously considering paying my eldest to wrap all her sisters presents lol!!

This weeks challenge at Crafty Creations is Angels and has been set by the lovely Melissa. We want to see an angel somewhere on your creations & this weeks sponsor is Melanie from Wink Wink Ink with a $15 voucher up for grabs to one lucky randomly drawn entry.
I've used the gorgeous Monique from Mo's Digital Pencil & have coloured her with copics (I've just realised I forgot to glitter her wings Duh!!!!!). The papers I've used are some I bought a couple of months ago & had completely forgotten I'd bought so this is their first outing!! I'll put them away for next year & probably forget where I've put them lol!! They are from Papermania & are called A Silent Night.
The poinsettia's are cut using Marianne Creatables & the ribbon is from my stash.

I'm also entering this card in the following challenges

Crafty Creations Challenge 98 - Photo Inspiration

Well, we're whizzing towards Christmas & I'm nowhere near being ready!! I've been so busy getting Christmas card orders finished that I've neglected my present shopping so am going to spend Thursday & Friday this week catching up.

I was well ahead of myself for this weeks Crafty Creations Challenge . . . why?? . . . . because I did the wrong one last week!! & followed the 'photo inspiration' challenge set by the lovely Bernie a week early Duh!!

The lovely pink, fluffy, lacy girly photo screamed out 'my house' when I saw it lol!! with 3 girls I have alot of pink, although my youngest would live in a football kit if I let her she does like her bedroom to have that girlie touch.

I just love this image that my lovely friend Nicola sent me & have used it quite a few times. It's a Sugar Nellie & great to colour.

The papers are from a Dovecraft pack of basics & has lots of lovely pastel papers.

The flowers have been punch using pearlescent white card & I've made a little ribbon flower by swing along the edge of a strip of ribbon & gathering it up & sewing a tiny heart button in the middle.

There's some great DT inspiration over at the Challenge blog & our sponsor this week is Bernie herself with some fab stamps from Cuddly Buddly.

I'm going to enter this card in the following challenges

ABC Challenge - Jewels & Gems

Cute Card Thursday - Floral Frenzy

Crafty Creations Challenge 96 - Gift Card Holder

I had great fun with this weeks challenge over at Crafty Creations which is to make a gift card holder.

Now firstly, apologies to those of you who visit my blog because once again I've used my Stampin Up Bauble stamp set & punch!! getting a bit monotonous aren't I lol!!

My friend & Stampin Up rep Jules showed us how to make this gift card holder at a recent workshop & it's so easy to make & can easily be adapted if you don't have bauble set! If you would like the measurements etc they can be found here with a video tutorial on how to make it. If you need any Stampin Up products then Jules is your woman!!! great customer service & she's running a Christmas order service at the moment.

I've used Stampin Up Crumb Cake cardstock for the main body of the gift card holder & edged to with the Scallop Trim border punch. The stamp is from the Contempo Christmas set & the ink is Cherrry Cobbler.

The bling, ribbon & paper are from my stash.

We're being sponsored this week by

who are offering a fantastic prize of  a $20 shopping spree!!

Pop over & have a look at the brilliant projects from the rest of the DT.

Thanks for looking.

Crafty Creations Challenge 95 - Christmas

A nice easy challenge this week so hopefully we will see lots of you joining us over at Crafty Creations.

I've gone for another card using my beloved Ornament stamp & punch from Stampin Up. I have a customer who wants 12 of these personalised & liked the Tempting Turquoise colour scheme so I've gone with a larger (A5) version of an earlier card.

The snowflake embossing folder is from Cuttlebug & the ribbon & bling are from my stash.

Please pop over & have a look at the amazing inspiration from the rest of the DT & our sponsor this week is Black Leaf Studio.

Crafty Creations Challenge 94 - Beautiful Insides

A great challenge over at Crafty Creations this week . . . . . Beautiful Insides!

As soon as I saw the challenge I thought . . . . .Exploding Box!! Now I haven't made one of these for a couple of years & couldn't find the instructions for the A4 card size!! Total STRESS until I remembered my external hard drive & there, stored under my very old documents were the instructions I needed.

A customer who already had 3 boxes for her existing Grandchildren asked me to make one for the latest addition to her daughters family so I put this together yesterday (better late than never!! the baby was born in October!!)

The outer layer of the box is decorated using a baby verse called Ten Tiny Fingers which is a sweet little verse & the inside is decorated with various baby bits from my stash & the newborn's details.

Another Christmas card

I absolutely love this new stamp set from SU & as they've brought out a bauble punch as well it means lots of easy to make Christmas cards.

This is another design I saw on Splitcoast Stampers.

I've stamped the bauble using Tempting Turquoise ink & the cardstock is also Tempting Turquoise. I've added plenty of bling to the bauble & finished it off with a sheer ribbon bow.

The white cardstock has been run through the cuttlebug using the snowflakes folder & the button is a Sizzlits die.

I've customised my ink colour to match the cardstock & ink to print the sentiment.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges

A Spoon Full Of Sugar - Snow/Snowflakes

ABC Challenge - H is for Holidays (Christmas)

Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes

For Fun Challenges - Dry Embossing

Jacqui's (Cats Whiskers) Blog Candy

Jacqui is offering 3 lots of fab blog candy for reaching 250,000 hits on her blog counter . . . WOW!! that's alot of visitors!!

This is just one part of the candy

Pop across to her blog to see the other 2 prizes. Candy ends 8th November.

80th Birthday Card

This is a card I made for an order for an 80th Birthday card.

The papers, cardstock, image & ribbon are all Stampin Up. I've also used my new SU Scalloped Trim border & corner punches for the first time. These have taken a bit of practice to use but make a lovely border decoration once you've got the knack!!

The little Raspberry flat back pearls & the clear crystals are from my stash.

I've made ore of the lovely vellum flowers I like to make so that I can enter this card in to this weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge!

I just love this thick vellum which is also from SU as it is so easy to emboss without fear of the embossing tool going through the vellum. I finished the flowers off with the Boho Blossoms punch & some tiny pearl beads.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges

Cute Card Thursday - Gently Does It (to use vellum or tissue paper)

A Spoon Full Of Sugar - Relish to Embellish

Fables & Fairytales

We have a fab challenge this week at Crafty Creations set by the lovely Deena & here is what she has to say

Hi everyone! We are into November already...can you believe it? I can't!! I just can't face the reality of the cold winter months ahead (hey, I'm in Canada, it gets darn cold up here)!!

So, I thought it might be fun to indulge in a little fantasy... a suspension of reality of sorts, by playing our FABLES AND FAIRY TALES challenge! By the way, the best thing about the cold weather is having a good excuse to stay in and CRAFT!! Do you have a favorite fairy tale or fable that comes to mind from your childhood? Or from reading to your own children? Indulge yourselves in some fantasy play and create a whimsical card that warms your heart!

We have a fabulous sponsor back with us this week...MELJEN'S DESIGNS!!!

MelJen's Designs will be offering the winner of this week's challenge a choice of 4 images from these incredible images found here.

Here is my card for this weeks challenge.

I've chosen a cute image from Meljens which is Gruffy Little Gnome who reminded me of Grumpy from Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs hence the sentiment!!

Now I think I've boobed when I've coloured him in & given him seven chins lol!! instead of a high neck sweater but never mind, I like it!!

The image is coloured with copics. The cardstock & paper is Stampin Up. I've made a little pin wheel from a scrap of SU paper & the ribbon & pearls are from my stash.

The rest of the DT have some fab projects for your inspiration so pop aross & have a look & hopfully you'll join us this week.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges

Incy Wincy Designs - Anything Goes

Craft Your Passion - Anything goes

Lexi's Creations - Anything Goes

Wee Memories - Anything goes

Crafty Creations Challenge 90 - Colour Challenge

This weeks challenge at Crafty Creations has been set by the lovely Melissa & is a colour challenge.

She wants to see the colours

RED    BROWN    &    GREEN

on your projects.

Our sponsor this week is

who is offering 5 images of your choice as the prize this week.

The DT were given the choice of working with one of the images for their samples this week & I chose the Christmas Corner which was great to print & colour. I've also stamped the sentiment from my Favorite Stampin Up set Wonderous Gift along side the corner.

I've coloured the corner using Copics & have highlighted the berries with Glossy Accents ( I thought they were Mistletoe berries so left them white but I think they are supposed to be holly berries!! . . . but SSShhhhh don't tell anyone!!)
.
The ribbon is from my stash & the Poinsettia is Marianne Creatables (one again). The paper is from a gorgeous Christmas set from Papermania & the cardstock is from Stampin Up.

I've coloured Kai in the Snow with Copics & added stickles to the snow.

The snowflakes are cut using a Marianne Creatables die & again I've added stickles.

The paper is Papermania, cardstock is Stampin Up & the ribbon is from my stash.
