WWWU Week 12 - Neutrals

The challenge this week was a simpler one, to use colours from the Neutrals Colour family.

I decided to go for a clean & simple wedding card.

I usually use my Natural Composition Speciality papers sparingly but have gone for a 6 x 6 size card here. I had to lay down in a dark room afterwards!! These papers aren't really 'paper' but are in fact inbetween paper & cardstock weight so are more than adequate to make a card.

I love the 'Mr & Mrs' stamp & have quite a few weddings over the summer so it will be getting a lot of use.

Rev Up The Fun . . . . . . . . Pit Stop

This is the last of my projects for the 'Jems' Newsletter.

I wanted to give the impression that the car was travelling. First I stamped the car on a 'Post It' note pad & cut around the image to create a mask. I then used the mask to cover the first, darker stamped image & then stamped again after first 'stamping off' on a piece of scrap. I then repeated the process 'stamping off' twice to create a much lighter third image.

Rev Up The Fun . . . . . . A Bit More

Here is another of my projects for the Jems Newsletter.

I wanted to find a gift bag that wasn't too girly & came across this one made from a sheet of 12 x 12 Designer Paper & the Envelope Punch Board.

As the base of the bag is in one piece it makes it extra sturdy.

I love the Chevron Ribbon & it comes in lots of lovely colours.

Rev Up The Fun

Like most card makers I'm guilty of not making very many mens themed cards & projects but with Fathers Day only a couple of months away now is the time to start planning for those mens projects.

I bought the Rev Up The Fun stamp set a couple of months ago but it had lay unopened until I was reminded that I had volunteered to produce the projects for this months Jems Newsletter.

I really enjoyed using this set and over the next few days I'll show you the projects I made.

Firstly my favourite card.

I was looking for something a little bit different & came across this version of a Z-Fold card on Pinterest.
