Less Is More - Sketch

It's been ages since I took part in the challenge at Less Is More but as it was such a lovely simple sketch it got my mojo going!
(after posting this I've 're- read this week's rules & think I've gone over the 1/3 limit!!)

Here is a sneak peek at something that is coming in the Stampin' Up! Spring/Summer catalogue & I just love it!!

The papers are Sycamore Street, the sentiment is from Bloomin' Marvelous and the ribbon is from the Sycamore Street Ribbons & Buttons pack which are all FREE during sale-a-bration if you spend £45. The little safety pin is from the Trinkets set which is in the main catalogue.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

Patterned Occasions

I'll admit that when I first saw the sale-a-bration stamp sets that this wasn't one of my favourites but after seeing lots of inspiration on Pinterest I couldn't wait for it to arrive.

The idea for the linked elephants came from a card on Pinterest & I've added the rest of the card.

I split the sentiments from the images on this stamp set so it will be very versatile.

The papers are the gorgeous Sycamore Street which are also FREE during sale-a-bration.I love the colours.

I've made a batch of these as thank yous for this months orders & it was very therapeutic cutting out the little elephants.

I {heart} Betsey's Blossoms

One of my closest friends has a birthday this week so I thought I would be organised & get her card made early.

As I still had the Betsey's Blossoms stamp set & Floral District papers I thought I'd have a go at making a Tri-Fold card. These cards are a lot easier to make than they look.

I've used one of the sentiments from the Delightful Dozen stamp set & I've used my Stampin' Write markers to colour in the different sections.

I also made a 3D envelope to match using Crumb Cake cardstock with a little bit of stamping on the outside.

Only 1 more sleep until sale-a-bration!!

Betseys Blossoms Class

I had two classes last week on Saturday morning and Wednesday night.
We used the new Betseys Blossoms stamp set & inks from the Brights colour family & the projects were popular with all the ladies who came.

The corner bookmark was a breeze to make using the Diagonal Plate for the Simply Scored Board.

The Floral District papers really compliment this stamp set.

Everyone made a matching card, decorated a gift bag & made a lovely corner bookmark.

If you would like details of my future classes please send me an email & I will add you to my mailing list.

Thank you for visiting.

Team Christmas Gifts

Apologies for being absent from Blogland for such a long time. I haven't been idle on the crafting front but sometimes something just has to give & this time it was my blog.

I thought I would start by showing you the gifts I made for Christmas for my team of demonstrators. I have a lovely group of ladies & just wanted to thank them for being part of my team during 2012. We had a little Christmas fuddle the week before Christmas & it was just nice to get together for a chat.

I made these cute little scissor holders which were made using the Petal Cone dye which easily cuts through material. I've embellished them using Stampin' Up! ribbon & buttons too.

I also put the brown paper that comes with Stampin' Up! parcels (reams & reams of it!!) to good use & stamped it using the Scentsational Seasons stamp set.

All finished off with a cute little tag.

Are you ready for Halloween

I found some little pumpkin chocolates in our local shop & thought they would be ideal for the little glassine bags that came with the Stampin' Up! Googly Ghouls kit.

I've cut some thin strips of cardstock & curled them with my bone folder to use as a backdrop for the image.

October Cards & More Class

Here is the full set of projects from this months card class. I've already shown you the cute little gift box in an earlier post.

This is my favourite card as it looks so classy. The Stampin' Up! embossing powders are so easy to work with & produce stunning results.

We used a sprinkling of Dazzlin Diamonds on the embossed oval which gives a gorgeous sparkle.

The cute Scentsational trees again teamed up with my favourite Christmas colour combination of Old Olive & Cherry Cobbler. We used a little bit of retired ribbon (naughty me) as I'd missed a reel of Ruffled Ribbon off my order!! but I love this ribbon & was sorry to see it go.

We had our Jems monthly team training yesterday & here are the projects we made all using the lovely little tree from the Scentsational set.
