Less Is More

Two posts in one day!! That doesn't happen very often but I wanted to get my entry for this weeks Less Is More on tonight as I'm at work for the next two days. It's lovely working term time but no so great going back :-(.

The challenge this week is Monochrome & a definition of this is given on the LIM blog.

I've used Pink tones & by using Stampin' Up! products I can be sure that everything colour co-ordinates.

I've used Pretty In Pink cardstock trimmed with the Scallop Trim Border punch & stamped the wording from the Strength & Hope stamp set in Whisper White Craft Ink. I've then over stamped the scroll & Hope stamps from the same set in Rose Red Classic Ink.

Finished off with a few little butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit in Rose Red.

My 11 year old said "that's a bit plain"!! but my 7 year old replied "I think it's really pretty Mummy!! . . . . out of the mouths of babes lol!!

  3. I have just acquired these butterflies too Sharon and I think they're super.
Something in my quirky nature would have liked the stamping in red to have been a little less symmetrical, with the H off centre... however it's simply great as is.
Thanks so much for another week's super submission.
