Please take pity on me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

& enter my blog candy!!! I feel like 'Billy No Mates'. It might not be as exciting as some blog candy's but that's a cute little stamp & I might just throw in another as a surprise.

Come on . . . . . . . have a go.

Owl Will Always Love Youuuuuuu

Sorry !!! couldn't resist bursting in to song. Don't you just love this cute little fellow?? The DT at Crafty Creations were lucky enough to be able to work with the fab digis at

this week and had a choice from the Owl Magic set to use.

The images are great to print & a joy to colour so I had great fun producing this card.
I got out my skeleton leaves again for this weeks challenge as I thought this lovely little bird needed a Fall background to stand against. The papers are from the Basic Grey range & the cardstock is Stampin Up Chocolate Chip. The die cut skeleton leaf is made using the Marianne Creatables flower set here. These dies are so easy to use & so effective. I've finished off with a Boho Blossoms SU punched flower & a Little button & twine also from SU. The charm & string are from my stash.

Another Craft Creations Challenge

This weeks challenge Crafty Creations has been set by Jaime & she wants to see us all using Falling Leaves.

Fall Colours - Fall Harvest - Fall Leaves

It's been such a long time since I've used skeleton leaves but have loads in my stash from 'the old days!!!' lol!!  I've used blue & brown leaves to match the colours in the DP which is from Craftwork Cards.

The cardstock is Tempting Turquoise & Kraft both from Stampin Up. The lace & tulle are both from Click-on-Crafts & the sentiment in an SU stamp. The flowers are all from my stash.

Thanks for looking & please pop over & have a look at the other DT cards.

I'm also entering this card in the following challenge

Another birthday order

I'm really lucky to have a large number of customers amongst the mums at my children's school but one thing some of them are not good at doing is giving me any notice when they need a card for a special occasion lol!!
That's when I tend to fall back on designs I've used before &, particularly for women, when I fall back on my good old faithful Pink Cat Studio Fashion Stamp Set which I bought from Dies To Die For.

The papers are Dovecraft - Hint of Pink & the flowers are made using some new vellum I've just bought from Stampin Up, it's alot thicker & easier to emboss. I've punched it using the SU Five Petal Flower punch & the centres are from the Boho Blossoms punch also from SU finished off with stickles in the centre. I've also used the SU punch Eyelet Border on the Melon Mambo card under the stamped image. The ribbon is from my stash.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges

Totally Papercraft - Happy Birthday

For Fun Challenges - Glitter it up (stickles on the flowers)

Glitterbabes Challenge - Anything goes with glitter

Special Birthday

Here is a card I made for my cousins little girls birthday. The image 'Penelopes Wagon' from Mo's Digital Pencil is just perfect as Abbi's hair is just as unruly as Penelopes lol!! She's such a joy to colour & I really enjoyed giving her the pink treatment.

I decided to go with an easel card as I really enjoy making them but don't do it often enough.

I've coloured her with Copics & given her a massive overdose of Stickles on her skirt.

The papers are & the cardsock is Stampin Up Melon Mambo.

The flowers are made using a retro punch & I've added some little crystals to the centre. The small flowers are punched using the Boho Blossoms punch from Stampin Up (what would I do without this punch??!!) & I've added Stickles to the centre of these as well.

The lace is from my stash & has been attched using staples but these have been hidden by the flowers. The sentiment is computer generated.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges

Paper Sundaes - 3 or more embellishments (I've use lace flowers & crystals)
Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog - Monocromatic (I've used shades of pink)

Crafty Creations Challenge 85 - Music/Dance

The theme over at Crafty Creations this week is

Music/Dance

& the rest of the DT have some lovely projects to give you inspiration. Our sponsor this week is Cristy Croll from Tiddly Inks.

My card this week is an order from a friend for her daughter. I remember her being born so this was a really 'make me feel old' moment!!

Her daughter is big into singing & dancing so I was delighted when I found this image. The colours matched beautifully with Stampin Up Yo Yo Yellow so that set the colour scheme for the card.

The DP is Stampin Up Bridegroom which gives a lovely background. I've run the cardstock through the cuttlebug using the argyle folder & finished off with some black & white ribbon & a gold embossed star. I've edged the image using a border punch from Hobbycraft.

Thanks for looking & hope you can join us this week.

Crafty Creations Challenge 84 DT card - Transportationl theme

I can't believe how quickly the weeks are speeding by. Before I know where I am it's Wednesday again & time for another challenge over at Crafty Creations.

This week the theme is
Transportation
and has been set by my fellow DT Claire.

I decided to go for our very first mode of transport 'the pram' & inked up my Sugar Nellie Daisy with pram stamp for the first time . . . . shame on me. The stamp was a pressie from my lovely & crazy friend Nicola with a few other SN stamps. Thanks Nic!.

I came across this card while blog hopping & landed on Frances's blog. She has a link to the blog she first found the zigzag card & has converted the measurements, you can find the post here. This is a complete case of Frances's card but I liked everything about it so hope she doesn't mind.

My first attempt at his style of card ended up in the bin after I attempted to cut the slits using my craft knife & plastic ruler. I ended up with a very wavy slit & big chunks cut out of the ruler!! very messy. I thought to myself . . . . . I must treat myself to one of those cutters that can cut slits as apposed to the guillotine I already have. Now I admit I probably have one of the messiest craft rooms but in all the clutter my very first cutter caught my eye!! it's been in the corner of my craft room waiting to either give it away or sell it as I haven't used it for years & guess what!!!!???? it's exactly what I needed to cut the neatest slits for my zigzag card . . yah!! It was so easy to make & I'll definitely be making more of this style.

Crafty Creations Challenge 83 - White Plus One DT card

I can't believe how quickly the weeks are passing!! Only a few more days & my girls are back at school & I'm back to work (boo hoo!!).

This weeks challenge at Crafty Creations is to use white plus one other colour. The DT have created some lovely cards this week. Please pop across & have a look & it would be great to see you taking part this week.

My card this week is made using only Stampin Up products. One of the great things about this company is that you can colour co-ordinate everything so easily all the way from the cardstock to the ink colour!

I have used the following products in my favorite colour, Rose Red.

Cardstock, ribbon, designer paper & ink pad. I've also used the flowers & saying stamps from the Simply Said stampset.

If you would like to know anything about Stampin Up or would like to order any SU products please pay a visit to my lovely friend Jules who I can highly recommend.

I'm also entering this card in to the following challenges

My Time To Craft - In the garden.
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Just the one (I've used one color apart from white)
Sir Stampalot - All distressed (I've distressed the edges of my image)
