Look What I 've Got

This award was given to me by the lovely Janet at Pink Gem blog. What an honour. I visit Janet's blog every day and love the cards she makes.
Now I have to pass this on to 3 people who I think are inspirational . . . gosh, that's a hard one, as you can see I have lots of favorite blogs and all of them are an inspiration in one way or another.
So here goes, the three people I choose are Kerry , Cass and Noleen because I love visiting all their blogs for inspiration. Go and have a look, you'll see what I mean.

A Pink Petticoat Day

I suppose the whole idea of having a blog is to show the cards you've made and hopefully give othere some inspiration. So how does that work if there is too much blogging and not enough card making. The result is a big gap in the posts on your blog and lots of comments on other peoples blog LOL!!
So I decided today to use the Pink Petticoat images I coloured in before the girls broke up for Easter. The images were all the same & the theme for the cards is all the same but the cards are all different.
I have used a couple of kickstand cards as well. These are very popular as they are a bit different.

Christening Card

I saw this in a Creativity mag several months ago but never had the occasion to use it. The lady who ordered it had already bought an exploding baby box when her granddaughter was born so wanted something different. I wasn't sure about the 'very pink' vellum I used but unfortunately it was one of those I left to the night before it was needed so didn't have time to change it. I haven't seen her since I dropped it off so I'm hoping she liked it.

Am getting carried away now LOL!!!

A new Craft Central opened at a garden centre a short drive (in cardmaking craft stash terms) so I decided to pay them a visit today. I had 2 of my children in tow and they had had enough as soon as they'd spent their Easter money LOL! so I didn't spend as much as usual. Will have another trip out once the girls are back at school and it will be a different story I can tell you.

My joint love is my cuttlebug

I deliberated for weeks (ok hours) before I ordered my cuttlebug from www.cuttingedgecrafts.co.uk & am so glad I did. I bought the embossing folders from Oh My Crafts in the States & the saving I made meant the wait was well worthwhile. The embossing gives a different dimention to what would otherwise be a very plain card. Definately a must have for all crafters.

I love Pink Petticoat

I really enjoy making cards with the Pink Petticoat images and the bubbles one is my current favorite. Lots of people are making some beautiful cards with these images.

Well I've gone and done it !! after blog surfing for the last couple of weeks I've finally got my own.
