Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 49 - Animal Magic

The challenge this week is to have an animal somewhere on your card. I had just printed off some of my favorite cats images from Pink Petticoat so this challenge was ideal.

The papers are SU Cutie Pie & the flower brad & ribbon are from my stash. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.
I've cut two scalloped mats using my Nesties, one in white & one in SU Rose Red & mounted them on top of each other. The flower is also mounted on a scalloped mat although it's not clear from the photo.
I've added a bit of bling to the image & ribbon which looks alot nicer IRL.
The sheer ribbon at the bottom actually has the little flowers inside it & I'm using it very sparingly lol!!

Friday Sketchers Week 39

Another lovely sketch this week & after leaving last weeks to the last minute I decided to be quick off the mark with this weeks.

The image is another I've had coloured for while & although the colours don't match exactly I think I've got away with it.

The card stock is SU Real Rose & the papers are Basic Grey Bittersweet. I've made the flowers by distressing different sized circles & layering them with a button in the centre.

The flowers, ribbon & lace are from my stash & the sentiment is cuddly buddly.

Thanks for looking.

Friday Sketchers Week 38

Here is my entry for this weeks sketch. This is my second on of these cards. Earlier in the week my youngest went to a party & I didn't have another card suitable so off the first of these went. I didn't have my camera with me so couldn't take a piccie so had to make the card again last night. It's a great sketch so I will definately be using it again.

The stamp is Elzybells coloured with Whispers. The papers are a Brenda Pinnick kit & the flowers & charm are from my stash. The sentiment was a freebie from a magazine.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge 4 - One

The challenge this week at The Sugar Bowl is to use ONE piece of patterned paper. As much as it breaks my heart I have opened my pack of Basic Grey Bittersweet. These papers are sooooo gorgeous!!

I've used an image I received month & months ago in a RAK & I coloured it as soon as I got it but never used it on a card. The colours match perfectly with the Bittersweet & the Real Rose cardstock from SU which has been cuttlebugged with the hearts folder.

The ribbon & tag are from my stash & the sentiment is computer generated.

Friday Sketchers Week 38

Have you had enough Pink yet !!!

Well I'm on a roll today. After weeks of really slack blogging my New Years Resolution has kicked in in February lol!! I'd promised myself I'd get involved with more challenges & posting but with orders tricking in I've found it hard to juggle everything so the blogging suffered. I've been keeping up with everyone in Google Reader but just haven't posted myself.

So today I've managed 3 challenges Wey Hey!!! & "it feels good na na na na na na na I knew that it would na na na na na na na!!! "

I really enjoyed this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch because you can make as little or as much of it as you want.
Although I think I might have gone a bit mad with the wording as I've stamped on her t-shirt as well as on the card lol!!

Bling from stash

Basic Grey Challenge 20

This weeks challenge is a sketch (which I've also used for the Cute Card Thursday card below)
& it was a great sketch to follow.
I feel as if I've been on another planet because I only recently discovered Basic Grey papers after winning some in Bernies Blog Candy & I can safely say I'm now addicted.
These Cupcake papers are the latest addition to my collection together with 2 Eva pads & a Bittersweet pad.
I've bravely taken my scissors to the Cupcake papers but am still at the stroking stage with the Bittersweet papers, they're just too nice to cut in to. I need another pad so I have one to stroke & one to cut up lol!!
