Crafty Creations Challenge 90 - Colour Challenge

This weeks challenge at Crafty Creations has been set by the lovely Melissa & is a colour challenge.

She wants to see the colours

RED    BROWN    &    GREEN

on your projects.

Our sponsor this week is

who is offering 5 images of your choice as the prize this week.

The DT were given the choice of working with one of the images for their samples this week & I chose the Christmas Corner which was great to print & colour. I've also stamped the sentiment from my Favorite Stampin Up set Wonderous Gift along side the corner.

I've coloured the corner using Copics & have highlighted the berries with Glossy Accents ( I thought they were Mistletoe berries so left them white but I think they are supposed to be holly berries!! . . . but SSShhhhh don't tell anyone!!)
.
The ribbon is from my stash & the Poinsettia is Marianne Creatables (one again). The paper is from a gorgeous Christmas set from Papermania & the cardstock is from Stampin Up.

The snowflakes are cut using a Marianne Creatables die & again I've added stickles.

The paper is Papermania, cardstock is Stampin Up & the ribbon is from my stash.

I've used it to make a 21st birthday card & have coloured it with Copics & added lots of stickles.

The papers & cardstock are Stampin Up as is the piece of ribbon.

I've used my Marianne Creatables flower & leaf punch to create the flowers & added a little cream rose to the centre. The flower is punched from Rich Razzleberry cardstock & the leaf from Papermania green vellum.

Please pop across & see what the rest of the DT have done with Chris's images.

Hey Santa Baby!!

This week at Crafty Creations we have a fab sketch from Jeanet. I think you'll agree this sketch leaves plenty of room for you to use your own creativity & embellishments . . . . . nice & simple . . . . . my kind of sketch!!
The addition to the challenge is to use a stamped image & some ribbon or lace.

This is one of my favorite Sugar Nellie Christmas stamps, isn't she just the cutest?? I've coloured her using Copics & added lots of stickles to her hat, coat & boots for that bit of Christmas sparkle.

The cardstock is Stampin Up & the paper is from a Dovecraft basics pack. I've mounted Mrs Santa on a circle which has been embossed using the snowflakes folder which has then been mounted on card embossed with the Snow Sledding folder.

The poinsettia is cut using the Marianne Creatables Straight Ponsettia which is my favorite die at the moment & the snowflakes are a Quickutz die. All finished off with a little bit of bling.

I've used some lace to make the little snowflake which I've snipped inbetween the points & glued round a small card circle finished off with a little snowflake eyelet in the centre.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges

Papertake Weekly Challenge - to chose a challenge from the last 3 years. I've chosen Christmas Crackers from November 2009.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar - Sparkle & Shine

Glitterbabes Challenge - Embossing
