Are you ready for Halloween

I found some little pumpkin chocolates in our local shop & thought they would be ideal for the little glassine bags that came with the Stampin' Up! Googly Ghouls kit.

I've cut some thin strips of cardstock & curled them with my bone folder to use as a backdrop for the image.

Here is my October customer thankyou card using the gorgeous new Papillon Potpourri stamp set from Stampin' Up!

I like to put a little card in with all my orders to thank my customers for their continued support with my Stampin' Up! business as without them I wouldn't be able to continue sharing what I love!

I think this is going to be one of my favourite stamp sets from the new catalogue so prepare yourselves to see plenty of projects using it.!!

October Cards & More Class

Here is the full set of projects from this months card class. I've already shown you the cute little gift box in an earlier post.

This is my favourite card as it looks so classy. The Stampin' Up! embossing powders are so easy to work with & produce stunning results.

We used a sprinkling of Dazzlin Diamonds on the embossed oval which gives a gorgeous sparkle.

The cute Scentsational trees again teamed up with my favourite Christmas colour combination of Old Olive & Cherry Cobbler. We used a little bit of retired ribbon (naughty me) as I'd missed a reel of Ruffled Ribbon off my order!! but I love this ribbon & was sorry to see it go.

More Scentsational Season

We had our Jems monthly team training yesterday & here are the projects we made all using the lovely little tree from the Scentsational set.

It's always great to meet up with other Jems & swap ideas & we also get invaluable business advise from our lovely upline Jules.

This would be lovely as a Christmas table decoration for each of your dinner guests.

Less Is More - Love & Marriage

I've left it very late today to join in with the challenge over at Less Is More so I've lost the daylight & my photo of my entry is very dull!!

I've gone for a small 4" x 4" white card & I've used the sentiment from a retired Stampin' Up! set Marry Me.
The heart is hanging on Stampin' Up! Whisper White Bakers Twine & a little Stampin' Up! Rhinestone to finish off.

My name is Sharon & I'm addicted to Pinterest

Thankfully this is a harmless addiction & has certainly got my creative juices flowing recently.

I came across a tutorial for this cute little Christmas tree card & just had to give it a go.

It uses the Perfect Pennants Bigz Die from Stampin' Up! & is great for using up those scraps of cardstock & designer paper & also for showcasing the Stampin' Up! border punches.

I've decorated it using stamps from the Scentsational Seasons & Joyous Celebrations stamp sets in the current Autumn/Winter Seasonal catalogue.

Googly Ghouls - Great Halloween project for children

I bought some little packs of Popping Candy Chocolate Bars from Asda this morning & thought they'd be ideal for little Halloween treats.

To decorate them I've used another of the great value bundles in the Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue from Stampin' Up! Googly Ghouls.

There is a great Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit which contains

20 Printed double sided labels
10 Glassine Bags
50 Adhesive Googly Eyes
10 Pieces of Pumpkin Pie/Whisper White Bakers Twine

and also a set of stamps Googly Ghouls which contains 6 stamps. I've used 5 of the stamps in today's projects along with other Stampin' Up! products from the main Ideas Book & Catalogue.

If you would like to have a look at the products please click on the Seasonal Catalogue link on my sidebar & go to page 27.

Aren't they cute? and would be a great project for a children's group.

If you would like any details or to order any of the products used please contact me.

Hexagon Gift Box

I've been trawling the web this morning for ideas for my next few classes up to Christmas & came across a tutorial for this box. It uses two of the die cuts from the Stampin' Up! Milk Carton Bigz Die.

I wanted to have a go straight away so have used some retired Christmas paper from Stampin' Up! until I can get some of the gorgeous new papers in the Seasonal Catalogue or from the new Catalogue coming out on 1st October.

The stamped images from the Scentsational Season stamp set die cut with the matching Framelits are a perfect fit for the side panels & the sentiment if from the Joyous Celebrations stamp set all of which are in the current Seasonal Catalogue.

The ribbon is the gorgeous Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon.

The peaks at the top of the box hold themselves shut when you fold them downwards but open easily to be filled with whatever goodies you decide to put in the.

We will be making one of these at my classes on 3rd & 6th October so please message me if you would like to book a place.

Scentsational Season - The rest of the set

Here are the other fab stamps from the Scentsational Season stamp set.

A cute little gingerbread man, this is my favourite stamp in the set.

A candy cane stamp. I've coloured it using Lucky Limeade & Real Red Stampin' Write Markers to give the stripes more definition.

A steaming cup of hot chocolate!!

I've really enjoyed making these Christmas cards & I think this is the earliest I've started with my Christmas projects!!

Scentsational Season

This card is made using another of the great value bundles from Stampin' Up! Sentsational Season. The lovely stamp set includes 6 stamps & there is a matching set of Framelit Dies.

I've also used the great value Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack £6.25 for 48 sheets which are the pefect size for A6 card fronts.

Another new product in the Seasonal Catalogue is the fabby Core'dinations Cardstock in Cherry Cobbler. It has a lighter core which shows through when embossed or sanded as I have here.

The sentiment is from the Greetings Of The Season stamp set also from the Seasonal.

With the right products this is a really simple card to put together.

First Of Many

I was desparate to make the beautiful ornament on the front cover of the catalogue but the stamp set has been so popular that is is currently on back order so I had to make do with just the Framelits when my order arrived on Friday.

My lovely SU sister Kate suggested I make up the ornament without the stamps to have a practice at putting it together so off I went & here's the result. Spot the boob I made with the rosette!! must make sure next time you can't see the join.
I'd missed out the beautiful new Tulle from my recent order so have used a small piece I had in my stash & I used some Christmas paper that retired last year.

I've embossed the top Lucky Limeade bauble with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.

I am doing a Christmas Craft Fayre in November so will definately be making more of these.
I'm loving the new Ornament Keepsakes Bundle in the Stampin' Up! Autumn/Winter Catalogue. You can buy the Ornament Keepsakes Stamps & Framelits separately but there's a discount if you buy them both together. Contact me if you would like more details.
