Card Candy

There are many great things about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and one of them is getting to see and order products from upcoming catalogues.

Sadly some great products currently available in the Spring Mini Catalogue, including this gorgeous Spice Cake Designer paper, will no longer be available after 31st April but we then have our Summer Mini which starts on 1st May.

The Summer Mini caused alot of excitement amongst the European Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as there are some fantastic new products. My pre order arrived yesterday & I couldn't wait to unpack & get started.

I found a tutorial for a card candy box and have adapted it to fit UK size A6 cards & it was so easy to make using one of the new products which will be available from 1st May.
It's a great gift idea & includes colour co-ordinated sentiment mats & 2 of each sentiment from Sincere Salutations so the recipient can customise their own cards.
I've included 4 cards in 2 different designs.
And here's what they could look like after the sentiment has been added.

This will be one of my June classes and I will post full details of the item & cost once the new catalogue has launched.

Pssst - Have you spotted another new product one one of the cards??

How's this for cute

How cute is this little fella!! My lovely Stampin' Up! sister Julie had made a couple of these and brought them to team training on Wednesday. I had planned an Easter craft afternoon with my two youngest daughters so made sure I took plenty of pictures so we could make these today.
They do use quite a few of the Stampin' Up! punches but are really easy to make & we had great fun. The body is the Stampin' Up! Petal Cone Die which I treated myself to last week & boy am I glad I did as there are so many fab projects you can make with it.
Here are Ciara's & Dara's bunny's too.

Stampin' Up! Products

Cardstock - Whisper White & Regal Rose
Punches - Ornament, Owl, Cupcake, Large & Extra Large Ovals, 1" Circle, 1/2" Circle & Modern Label

Less Is More Week 61 - Photo Inspiration

There's a photo inspiration challenge this week at Less Is More and here's my card.

The flowers are from the Marry Me stamp set & I've used Pear Pizzaz & Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Markers to stamp it.
I found a great tutorial on Pinterest showing you how to make a rectangle out of the Stampin' Up! Scallop Square Die so I've used that for the white on white mat.
The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set.

Workshop Projects

I held my sale-a-bration Open House Workshop last week & had a house full of lovely ladies all enjoying the fab Stampin' Up! products. I had two of my team there to help me with the ladies who had never used any Stampin' Up! products and they were brilliant. Thanks Sam & Vanda for all your help.
This is the card that everyone got to make on the day.

Sorry, I'm showing you sale-a-bration sets again!! This is the Elementary Elegance stamp set which has this gorgeous main stamp & this sentiment.

I demonstrated this cute little purse which is ideal for a little gift.

And here is the stepped up version of the card to show that by adding a couple extra products makes a beautiful card.
